Re: WAY FM Having Financial Troubles?

Doesn't sound like they're likely to be hiring soon, eh? The picture you paint of WAY-FM is not very hopeful (and I wonder if people at WAY-FM would be so doom and gloom) but how many other companies in other sectors of business look the same way these days? Though I hear stories from plenty of othe...

Re: Still playing Fee?

Are you trying to provoke us? Trying to pick a fight?

Sorry I've missed this til now.

I think maybe we could or should apologize to Amy but have we come far enough to separate the song from the man in order to still play songs by Fee?

A good thought

Dan Young answered the question - if you knew what you know today about radio, would you still pursue a career in it - with the answer: If you think you only work in radio, you may not for very long. But if you think you work in media, you will always have a career. I'm not trying to be another voic...

Finding time, sharing time

I was reading She Prep today and Beth talks about finding time in the summer to get all the necessities done, like mowing the lawn. Her neighbor George called to apologize about not getting his yard done because he'd been so busy at work. (Nice of him to call!) I wonder if there's a way to trade tim...

Nashville

I hope by now everyone's heard about the flooding in Nashville. Continuing to pray for all you guys there. Also, not sure if it was somehow flood related, but our friend Andrea at Word had her new home broken into the day after the rain stopped. She'd only been living there for a week. Andrea, love ...

Re: Carrie Underwood - Temporary Home

I would love our station to play it (Christian). I think the song is great but the video adds so much. Would be great to include that through a website in addition to the adding the song. I agree with what's been said: Carrie's team is onto something.

Valentine's Day

So does anyone do anything special on the air for Valentine's Day? Any special programs or music?

I listened to the Lanae Hale on Play MPE - it's a really sweet little number.

Just curious...

Re: Prayers for Haiti

I tried to post this before it didn't work. I'll try again. I saw another story that Melony shared about her trip: THANK YOU so much for the prayer and thoughts!! God is truly AH-MAZING!! Our team is back and safe and wishing we were still there to help, they soooo need it! Today is my first day bac...

Re: Point of Grace & Country

Can you fairly say ALL CC artists? I would say there are some - but ALL?

Could the same be said for Country - some would rather be mainstream pop?

Re: Point of Grace & Country

I think Point of Grace is fine to do both. Especially at this time in the industry. They have the look and an appropriate sound for Country, and for Christian, and their message fits both.
