ESPN Network Brakes Going Long
Hi ESPN Radio affiliates. Have you experienced any issue with the ESPN network still in commercials when you comeback from a local break? Maybe they are :01 too long but still long enough to sound clunky. I've TRIPLE checked our spot length and segue times. This seems to be more prevalent at night/weekends and just with ESPN. Our other networks stay on time. Is it their board op or maybe our automation system DJB? - Thanks Bone Crusher

Use the closure (T98) to bring the network back on instead of in sequence after your break ends. I normally put a "safeguard" command in about 10 seconds after my break ends to rejoin incase the closure isn't received. I do play a rejoin liner in sequence after my break ends. That way there is no dead air, and the rejoin is clean.
